It’s really tough to take care of skin as you’re always on the go. Things are worse when you have sensitive skin. Sensitive skin is prone to rashes, tanning, irritation and a zillion other skin problems.  We list some extremely useful habits to adapt for your sensitive skin while you concentrate on being the boss babe you are.

Shop Smart

Shop Smart

Be careful while buying skincare and makeup products. Go through the ingredients list at the back and see what suits you. Fewer the ingredients, the better. Sensitive skin needs mild and gentle products. Try to go for alcohol and chemical-free products for makeup. Only use soap-free face washes or natural and herbal soaps.

Soft fabrics

Soft fabrics

Things can get sweaty and heavy, working those long hours at office. Harsh fabrics like wool and polyester can make your skin irritable and itchy. Opt for breathable fabric like cotton, linen and silk for work wear.

Sun Protection

Suffice to say that the sun harms sensitive skin the most. As a girl constantly on the move, you can’t avoid the sun but sure can protect your skin from getting sunburnt, catch allergies or getting tanned. Use a good sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 and cover your face with a soft scarf when going out.

Makeup on, Makeup off

Makeup on, Makeup off

As soon as you reach home, the first thing you should do is remove your makeup and apply a cooling cream that soothes your skin. Makeup blocks pores and prevents skin from breathing.

Avoid Hot Water

Avoid Hot Water

Washing your face with hot water can strip off your natural oils, making it dry and chapped. You can use lukewarm water for showers but only use cold water to rinse your face. Also, don’t spend too much time in water. Take short showers instead of long ones.
