The pandemic has pretty much changed our life (to put it lightly). The biggest shift has been the work from home arrangement that has become the new normal. In between all the deadlines, presentations and meetings, our skincare regimen has changed significantly and today, we are focusing on just that!
Never the ones to leave their skincare behind, we have asked Team BB to share their everyday WFH beauty routine that helps them maintain healthy skin. Read on to see what the girls at BeBeautiful are actually using in their daily skincare regime.

Pre-pandemic my skincare routine used to be using a face wash and leaving the house. But staying indoors for so long has made my skin dull, and now I've got a pretty intensive skincare routine in place. I start the day by washing my face using the Dermalogica Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash, which does wonders for my oily skin and follow it up with an exfoliating oat scrub that I make at home by simply grinding up oats.
Then, I use a witch hazel-infused toner and follow this up by using a couple of drops of the Lakmé 9to5 Vitamin C+ Facial Serum. Once that's locked in, I use the Pond’s Super Light Gel Moisturiser since hyaluronic acid is my current fave skincare ingredient.

Striking a work-life balance while working from home has been hard, but taking care of my skin never took a backseat in my case! Rose water is my go-to skincare ingredient and I love how I can use it as a cleanser or in any face pack I make at home. For my daily skincare, I follow the basic CTM rule. I use a cream-based face wash to clean my skin and follow it up with the Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner and the non-sticky Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser. I have also introduced the Lakmé 9to5 Vitamin C+ Facial Serum in my routine recently and I am quite glad with this addition!

Ever since we started working from home, I have come to realise the importance of self care and taking care of your skin in your mid 20s. I now exfoliate at least twice a week with the St. Ives Radiant Skin Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub to help deal with the blackheads and also deeply cleanse my face.
I have oily skin and breakouts are common for me, so I make sure to start my day by spritzing some rose water all over my face to clean and soothe it. I have also developed a comprehensive night skincare routine that I follow to the T, which has considerably helped my skin. I start off by cleaning my face with the Simple Daily Skin Detox Purifying Facial Wash (it’s a godsend for oily and acne-prone skin) and follow it up with the Lakmé Absolute Pore Fix Toner (it makes my pores appear smaller, which I am really thankful for). I also switched to the gel-based Pond’s Super Light Gel moisturiser a few months back and it has been a blessing for my oily skin!

I have very sensitive skin, so I am very selective when it comes to picking up skincare products and try sticking to home remedies as much as possible. I have aloe vera planted at my home, so I use its gel and mix it with rose water as a face pack — it helps me get rid of whiteheads. I then use a few drops of the Dermalogica Ultracalming Serum Concentrate to seal the deal.
For my regular use, my go-to moisturiser is the Dove Cooling Gel Crème; it is lightweight, non-oily and leaves my skin refreshed. I also have this compulsive need to apply my Lakmé Lip Love Gelato Chapstick and hand lotion every half an hour, which makes my lips and hands super soft - so not complaining about that!

Before sitting in front of my laptop screen to work from home every day, I make sure to indulge in some self-care (read, skincare). My routine starts with a relaxing shower. Since I’ve lately become very mindful of the products I use on my body and face, I’ve consciously switched to vegan and cruelty-free Love Beauty and Planet’s Tea Tree Oil & Vetiver Body Wash. It is soothing, has an earthy scent and makes me feel ready to take on the day.
After this, I cleanse and tone my face before slathering up the Lakmé Absolute Hydra Pro Gel Creme. I have become a big fan of hydrating gel-based formulas over the years, and this one makes my skin plump and hydrated, so I make sure to keep it handy.
