That’s right, you can take years off your face without spending a bomb. Want to know how? Read on…
- 01. Cleanse your skin gently
- 02. Work out at least 4 times a week
- 03. Use natural beauty products
- 04. Eat an antioxidant-rich diet
- 05. Stop smoking and drink less alcohol
01. Cleanse your skin gently

While it is essential to cleanse your skin thoroughly, it’s also important to do so gently. Use gentle circular motions while cleansing and exfoliating your skin to prevent damage. Irritated skin accelerates ageing. Therefore, if you want to look young and have soft, plump skin, be gentle with it.
02. Work out at least 4 times a week

Working out improves blood circulation in the body and flushes out toxins from the pores of the skin, along with sweat. Those who exercise at least 4 times a week have naturally healthy-looking skin. Go for a brisk walk during the day and take the stairs whenever possible. These small changes can really transform the way your skin looks.
03. Use natural beauty products

Most beauty products available in the market today are loaded with chemicals that accelerate the signs of ageing. Stay away from skincare products that contain parabens and other toxic chemicals. Whip up a DIY recipe whenever you have time and treat your skin to the goodness of natural ingredients. And when that’s not possible, load up on products that are free from these toxic ingredients. Our current favourite is Simple beauty products range which is free from baddies.
04. Eat an antioxidant-rich diet

Free radical damage is the number one cause for premature ageing. Exposing your skin to dust, pollution and harmful rays of the sun are all responsible for this. Antioxidants help combat free radical damage, as well as, repair skin cells faster. Therefore, it is essential to include antioxidant-rich foods in your diet to prevent ageing and cellular damage. Berries, green tea, carrots, spinach, nuts, milk, seafood are all rich sources of antioxidants.
05. Stop smoking and drink less alcohol

Smoking tobacco speeds up ageing like no other. It not only causes wrinkles, but also makes your complexion look dull. Alcohol dehydrates the skin and with time causes irreversible damage. Therefore, if you want younger-looking skin, you should stop smoking and limit your alcohol intake, right away.
