Cinnamon is a natural exfoliant for your lips; it reduces the dead skin cells and gives you lighter lips. The olive oil and sugar hydrate your lips and prevent them from getting chapped. The citric acid in lemon clears skin pigmentation.

Take 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder and add in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sugar each and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub this scrub on your lips and let it stay for 10 minutes. Wash it off with cold water and apply a lip balm.

Do this weekly for soft, pink lips.

Beetroot juice and honey scrub

Beetroot is a popular skin care ingredient since it contains vitamin c which helps reduce dark spots and pigmentation and will also give your lips a pinkish tint. Added to this is the moisturising properties of honey and olive oil. Lemon is a bleaching agent and will help lighten your lips.

Mix 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of beetroot juice, olive oil, and sugar each. Stir until it forms a paste. Apply this scrub onto your lips and leave it on for 15 minutes.

Apply this scrub once a week for better results.

Kiwi scrub
