Skin darkening is a common skin concern and our hectic lifestyles and the humid weather are only making things worse.
There are parts of our skin—like the underarms and under thighs—that are prone to friction and sweating, both of which lead to skin darkening.
That's why ladies, we have put together some natural home remedies to help you deal with skin darkening...
Dark neck

Neck darkening is no skin disease but it can be embarrassing non-the-less. One natural way to lighten your neck is to use an almond scrub. Almonds are a rich source of Vitamin E, which helps improve the general health of your skin and works to lightening the skin.
All you need to do is grind 5 to 8 almonds into a thick paste. Add one teaspoon of milk powder and one teaspoon of honey to the paste. Mix well and apply on the dark areas.
Let it sit for 30 minutes, then scrub and wash it off with water. Repeat it 3 to 4 times a week and see the difference.
Dark underarms

Dark underarm can make you uncomfortable and self-conscious when you wear a sleeveless or an off-shoulder dress or top. Here is an easy way to lighten dark underarms. Try the rice flour/ rice powder and vinegar pack. Rice flour has oil controlling properties and vinegar helps in lightening skin colour and it helps kill bacteria and germs that cause body odour.
Mix in 4 tablespoons of rice flour with 2 tablespoons of vinegar to form a thick paste. Clean your underarm and apply the paste. Let it rest for 20 minutes or till it dries. Wash it off with water. Repeat it 3 to 4 times a week and see the difference.
Dark inner thighs

Yes! Dark inner thighs are an extremely embarrassing problem for both men and women. Though it is usually associated with poor personal hygiene that may not be the case. Hyperpigmentation in inner thighs is caused due to various factors like obesity, friction, hormonal imbalance, diabetes and more. One way to get rid of this is by applying the honey, lemon and sugar scrub.
While honey is an age-old remedy for dry skin, sugar can help you scrub off the coat of dead skin cells. To make this pack, mix in a tablespoon each of honey, lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Apply it onto your inner thighs and gently scrub the region in a circular motion. Leave it for another 15 minutes and than wash it with lukewarm water. Repeat it a few times every week for around 2 weeks for good results.
