Papaya and honey face mask

The potassium in papaya removes dryness and dullness from the skin giving you glowing skin. Honey acts as a moisturiser and cleanser and helps get rid of blackheads. A papaya and honey face mask will give you clean and healthy skin.

Take half a papaya and mash it then add in 2 tablespoons of honey. Mix to make a paste and apply it over your face. Let it stay for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Do this twice a week for best results.

Papaya and lemon face mask

Papaya is rich in enzymes which help treat sunburn and soothe irritation. Honey contains antibacterial properties that keep acne bacteria away. Lemon, on the other hand, contain citric acid which is an instant skin brightener.

Take 1 cup mashed papaya and mix 2 teaspoons honey and 2 teaspoons lemon juice to it. Mix and massage the paste onto your face. Wash off with cold water after 10 minutes. Use this mask daily to treat acne and acne scars.

Papaya and olive oil hair mask

Papaya extract is a great conditioner since it contains enzymes that nourish your hair from the roots. Olive oil is a good source of vitamin E which helps maintain the keratin in hair, leaving it moisturised.

Take half a ripe papaya and blend it to make a paste. Add ½ cup olive oil and 2 tablespoons honey to it and blend well. Rub the mask into your hair and let it stay for 45 minutes. Shampoo and condition as usual. This mask will help treat damaged hair and is a known remedy for hair fall too. Use this mask at least once a week.
