Heeled sandals are a blessing to all women alive. They make you feel elegant, classy, more womanly and often, superior in a way as well. Those extra inches don't just lift you higher but they lift your esteem as well. Wearing heels is all about having the confidence to take over the world. But you might have to rethink this choice of footwear if you have cracked heels. It just ruins the entire purpose and proposition of showing off those heels. You will certainly not feel confident enough with those cracks peeping out of your footwear. Luckily, cracked heels can be cured with the right kind of treatment. Here is how you can get rid of cracked heels and strut like a supermodel in those stylish high-heeled shoes.
Oils

Most of the time, heels tend to crack on account of dryness and a lack of moisture. If you’re trying to solve this problem, oil is one of the best solutions you can ever come across. Apply vegetable oil once in a day on the affected areas so as to get softer heels. Make sure that you wash your feet thoroughly everyday in order to maintain your foot hygiene. You can apply the oil and let it stay overnight for better results.
Avocados and Bananas

Avocados and bananas are two fruits that are rich in nutrients and have highly moisturising properties. Take a ripe banana and smash it in a bowl along with an avocado. Mix well until you get an even thick paste. Apply this paste onto your heels and leave it to dry for about 15 minutes. Do not try to walk or move your legs during this time. Later, you can wash it off with warm water. This paste also helps remove all those dead skin cells that intensify the appearance of cracked heels and cleans your feet by removing any dirt trapped in-between the cracks.
Honey

Honey is one of the best moisturizing agents available on earth. It seals in all the moisture and even improves the texture of the area that it is applied to. Add a few teaspoons of honey to a tub of lukewarm water and dip your feet into it. Let your feet soak in the honeyed water for about 10 to 15 minutes before using a scrubber to clean all the dead skin off of your feet. This method is akin to a mini-pedicure at home, especially for those with cracked heels.
Oatmeal and Olive Oil

Oatmeal is an excellent exfoliant while olive oil, on the other hand, is an excellent hydrant. These two ingredients are beauty essentials that can be used to treat any and all kinds of dry skin problems. Grind the oatmeal into fine granular powdered form and add olive oil to it. Apply this mixture onto the targeted heel zone and leave it to dry for about 10 minutes. Once the mixture has dried completely, wash it off with cold water. All the dead skin on your feet gets washed away on account of the oatmeal granules while your dry skin gets softened due to the olive oil.
