You wake up with tired, puffed up eyes with a dark halo around them. If that sounds familiar, we’ve got you covered. While you are handling so much already, let us help you through this one. Here are 3 super effective ways to fix dark circles and puffy eyes when it’s only days before your wedding. Read on to know...
Massage with a natural oil
Almond oil, castor oil and coconut oil all have skin-lightening properties that work like a charm on dark circles. Take a small amount of any of these oils and massage with your fingers in a circular motion. This helps regulate blood flow and brighten the eye area.
Make a cooling eye mask
Grate a cucumber and half a potato and squeeze the water out it. Mix some aloe vera gel to it and apply on your eyes. Potato and cucumber juices do a stellar job in lightening the dark circles and soothing eyes, while aloe vera provides moisture and de-puffs sore eyes. Apply this mask for 15 minutes twice a day. Putting cold tea bags on your eyes for 10 minutes works wonders too.
Don’t forget an eye cream
When you do get to go to bed, remember to remove every bit of your eye makeup and cleanse your eye area first with a face wipe and then with a cleanser. Then, apply Dermalogica Total Eye Care around your eyes in a tapping motion. It is formulated with optical light diffusers that help reduce puffiness and dark circles.
