3 DIY face masks for combination skin

If you have combination skin, your relationship with your skin can be labelled as ‘complicated’. While some areas on your skin feel dry as a dessert, some are an oily mess. Makes you scream in your head, doesn’t it?

Well, since you could obviously do with some help, we have rounded up three face masks for combination skin. Pamper your skin with these moisturising and oil-fighting face masks RN.

01. Egg white and olive oil

03.	Strawberry and yoghurt

While egg white helps zap excess oil from your T-zone and tightens pores, olive oil provides ample hydration to the dry and flaky areas. Plus, it’s lightweight and non-comedogenic. To make this mask, mix one egg white with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it on cleansed face. Wash it off once it dries and apply a moisturiser. Do this once a week for healthy skin.

02. Honey and lemon

03.	Strawberry and yoghurt

Honey is a natural moisturiser and lemon is an excellent ingredient for getting rid of excess oil and brightening the skin. When combined in a face mask, it helps fight oil and leaves your skin moisturised. Wash your face and pat dry. Apply the face mask evenly on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water and moisturise. You can apply this face mask twice a week.

03. Strawberry and yoghurt

03.	Strawberry and yoghurt

No, not making a smoothie! Strawberry and yoghurt work wonders for combination skin. Strawberries are a rich source of vitamin C whereas yoghurt contains lactic acid. Together, they help brighten dull complexion, fight acne and reduce the production of excess sebum on the face. Take three to four strawberries and add half a cup of plain yoghurt to it. Blend the two ingredients to form a smooth paste and apply it on your face. Let it stay for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off.
