To give us a clear view of their healthy ingredients, the restaurant had a spread of all the delectable fruits and veggies that were about to be used in the salads. There was avocado, cherry tomatoes, chickpea, pomegranate, juicy melons and so much more! If you ask us, it was like entering healthy haven and mind you, the kind that gets you so hungry!
The Hipster Salad
A combination of kale, quinoa, grated carrot, cranberries, oranges, pomegranate, mixed seeds, orange carrot-vinaigrette topped with our favourite ricotta cheese, this salad didn’t just look delish but was also incredibly yummy.
Why we love it: The minute we tasted this one, it was like perfection in our mouths. Besides, this salad has kale, which helps manage blood sugar levels while quinoa is high in fibre and full of protein. As cranberry lovers, we just couldn’t help but relish them to the core in this salad. The fact that it had melons, carrots and pomegranate made this one of the best summer salads for veggie lovers. And of course, our favourite part was the taste of ricotta cheese, which was mild in flavor but just right for this salad. Need we say more?
Avocado and Feta
A mixture of roquette leaves, olives, cucumber, tomato, avocado and sweet corn - lemon mint vinaigrette, this salad is full of nutritional value. It was topped with crumbled feta cheese made it all the more exciting for us. Needless to say, it truly lived up to our expectations.
Why we love it: Is there anything cooler than avocados? So naturally, adding them to the salad instantly makes it so right for the summer season. Also, they’re loaded with potassium, which is hugely beneficial for the hair, especially in the summers when it’s a stressful time for your mane. It’s our favourite summer salad. What about you?
The Feel Good Salad
Comprising baby spinach, barley, chickpea, chicken, tomato, cucumber, feta, avocado, pomegranate and mixed seeds, this salad is a complete meal so be rest assured that you won’t be complaining for a while after relishing this one.
Why we love it: We’re sold when it comes to anything with chicken. And when it has so many healthy veggies to go with it, it makes us further delighted. This one contains barley, which lowers cholesterol. And of course, there’s protein in plenty because of the chicken and chickpea. It’s slightly crunchy and the dressing is sure to leave a lasting taste in your mouth. Basically, we’re just saying that if you’re visiting the restaurant, it’ll be criminal to leave without having this one.
