What you gotta do

It all comes down to the basics of storing skincare — the ingredients in your face packs require them to be kept in a certain condition for the pack to actually give you healthy skin. So, how well your pack works depends on how well and where you store it. And turns out, how and where you keep and store your face packs makes all the difference.
You can start off by storing your face packs in airtight jars to make them last longer. It is also important to keep the jar in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or any sort of heat exposure. When storing ingredient specific face packs, here’s what you got to do:

  • For face packs with ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil or any other oil, it is usually best to store them at room temperature in a well-sealed jar.
  • For face masks with Vitamin A and C — store them in airtight containers as they tend to spoil fast if exposed to air.
  • For mud-based or clay face packs, we suggest storing them in an airtight ceramic or stone jar. Just make sure not to keep them in a metallic container.

And that’s all, just follow these easy steps, and you can significantly increase the shelf life of your favourite face packs.
