Bhujangasana or the cobra pose helps stretch the muscles in the upper part of the body while reducing the stiffness in the back and shoulders. This enhances the flow of blood to the head, which elevates your mood as well as promotes healthy skin. It also allows the chest to open up, thereby easing the flow of oxygen.

How to: To perform this asana, lie down on your stomach, place your palms below your shoulder and lift your upper body upwards. Repeat 8 to 10 times.
