BB: What is your hair care routine like?
SS: My haircare routine is very basic. I use shampoo and follow it up with a conditioner, and I always make sure that I use serum on slightly damp hair when I am out of the shower. I leave it to just air-dry because I don’t like to use too much heat on an everyday basis.
BB: How do you deal with a bad hair day?
SS: Just how you have a sheet mask to hydrate your skin, similarly, hair masks help me hydrate my hair and scalp. With a hair mask, all you need to do is apply it all over your hair and scalp evenly, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, rinse it out and leave your hair to air-dry. It’s the best deep-conditioning hair treatment you can do at home.
BB: Is there a hair care remedy that has changed your life?
SS: Onion juice is the best elixir for your scalp. If you’re facing hair woes such as hair loss, brittle hair or hair thinning, then onion is juice is something you should reach out for. Mix it with some coconut oil and apply the mixture at least three to four times in a month. You’ll see a huge difference in your hair.

BB: What’s your idea of pampering your hair after all the constant heat-styling?
SS: The conditioner that I use is actually a mask because I need that extra hydration every second or third day when I wash my hair. If my hair is feeling too dehydrated, then I just head to a salon for a hair spa or a deep-conditioning treatment.
BB: Which celebrity according to you has her hair game on fleek?
SS: While I really like how Kangana Ranaut experiments with haircuts, I think Sonam Kapoor Ahuja steps out wearing some really cool hairstyles.
