Tangled hair is more complex than love these days. PERIOD! All those who spend a great amount of time detangling their hair at the end of the day will know that the struggle is REAL! The straighter your hair, the more likely it is to get tangled.
And do you know what’s worse? Vigorously combing your hair in order to get rid of tangles not just leaves you with a painful scalp but also breaks your arms. *phew* One of the main reasons that most of us lose hair from breakage and shedding is because we are not detangling our hair entirely properly.
The easiest way out is… ever heard of detangler spray? Coating your hair with a detangler spray before combing or styling helps smoothen the strands and strengthens the hair, making it more pliable. This, in turn, protects your hair from any damage like breakage and hair loss.
The good news is that you can make your own DIY hair detangler spray at home. A nourishing leave-in conditioning spray will not only add moisture to your locks, but also detangle hair without any product buildup. Here’s an easy-peasy 3-step guide to a hair detangling spray recipe!
Mix together 10-15 drops essential oil (either rosemary or lavender), one tablespoon of any carrier oil (argan, jojoba or sweet almond) and half a teaspoon of aloe vera gel.
Add the above mixture in a spray bottle and fill the bottle with distilled water.
Shake the bottle lightly and spritz on your hair like you would use any other hair spray. Use the detangling spray before combing or brushing your hair.
