When it comes to hairstyles, most of you are procrastinators who stick to their regular buns or ponytails. You prefer a few extra minutes of sleep in the morning rather than spending time in front of the mirror trying a different hairstyle. Amirite?
Buuut, what if we told you that there are a bunch of hairstyles out there that take the same amount of time to create as a ponytail or bun and yet look awesome? Yes, you read that right. Here’s how you can get extra snooze time without compromising on your style.
Space buns

Believe it or not but you can totally rock space buns as an adult. If you have fine hair, gather all your hair up into two buns on each side of your head or try this half-up space bun hairstyle. It’s simple, stylish and perfect for hot summer days.
Twisted ponytail

If you have undying love for ponytails and can’t imagine yourself in any other hairstyle, you can at least take it a notch higher. Take a 2-inch section of hair from the front, twist and pin it at the back, repeat the same on the other side. Gather all the hair at the nape of your neck and tie a low ponytail, remove the pins and ta-da!
Messy half top knot

Instead of letting your hair down or going for a top knot, you can settle for something in between that’s stylish and simple. Gather the top half section of your hair and make a messy top knot, secure with a hair tie and walk out of that door in minutes.
Half up rope braid

This twisted hairstyle isn’t as complicated as it looks. Pick the top half section of your hair, divide it into two sections. Twist the first section from the base to the length and repeat the same on the other section. Hold the twisted sections together and secure with a hair tie. It’s THAT simple.
Upside down braid

Okay, we admit, this one will take a few more minutes than your regular go-to hairstyle but trust us, it’s so worth it. Brush your hair, bend forward and flip your hair to the front. Begin at the nape of your neck and braid your hair upwards. Once you reach the top of the head secure with a hair tie, now twist the ponytail and wrap around the base to get a top knot. Secure with bobby pins.
