How to undo common hair styling whoopsies

We love experimenting with different hairstyles and colours and once in a while we end up messing it up. It can be quite frustrating, especially when you have to start it from scratch. Mistakes are an inevitable part of our lives but we also learn from our mistakes. Thankfully correcting common hair styling mistakes is far easier to fix than cutting your own bangs.

Read on to find out how to fix hair styling mistakes that can ruin your mornings.

Spraying a lot of dry shampoo

You woke up late, didn’t get the time to wash your hair so you grabbed that dry shampoo bottle and sprayed on dry shampoo. Sadly, you were in a hurry and didn’t stop when you should have. Before running towards the shower to get rid of the product on your scalp, stop and take a deep breath. Now grab a damp towel and pat the area to absorb the excess product from your scalp. If you still notice a white cast, take a few drops of oil and rub it between your fingers and carefully apply on your scalp.

Hair tie dent

You tied your hair during your morning workout and ruined the perfect blowout from the day before. Starting all over again from scratch can be very annoying and time consuming, especially if you have voluminous hair. You can’t workout with your hair open, therefore prevention is the key here. Use a scrunchie or a spiral hair tie to prevent unwanted dents. These secure your ponytail and bun better than an elastic tie and also prevent snagging and pulling.

Curling iron newbies often end up with a bend which usually occurs from leaving the curling iron on your hair for too long or doing it in the wrong direction. Instead of trying to fix it ASAP allow it to cool down. Now spray on some heat protection spray wait for a minute or two and then curl the same section again, be careful to not keep it for too long and get the perfect girl.
