Wishing you joy and happiness as you begin a new chapter in your life… sounds a tad dramatic, but changing your hair parting can have that effect! Yes, you may be super comfortable with your regular side parting and the thought of changing sounds difficult AF, but it’s always a good idea to make small tweaks in your hairstyling routine. Because, why not?

If you’re into easy, simple ways of styling your hair, then you’ve come to the right place! All you need to move away from your everyday redundant look is switch your hair parting from side to middle. And, here are four steps that’ll help you ace it!

Step 1: Wet

Start with your original hair parting. Use the spray bottle to wet down the hair at your original part.

Step 2: Part

To create a clean centre-part, place the end of a rattail comb at the middle of your hairline and draw a straight line down the middle of your head. The faster you move, the straighter your centre-parting will be.

Step 3: Wet again

Once you’ve created a centre-parting, take the water spray and wet down your hair again. Water will help manipulate and knock out the hold of your original parting.

Step 4: Dry

Lastly, to lock in your new part in place, hit it with a blow dryer.

Voila! You’ve successfully created a new hair parting, which won’t budge. So, are you ready to take on this new hair experiment?
