Step 01: Fill a large bowl with warm water and add a few drops of any shampoo. Stir until it lathers

Step 02: Soak you dirty scrunchies in the soapy mixture and leave it there for about 15 minutes

Step 03: Next, place these scrunchies under fresh, running water until they are completely free of the soap and dirt

Step 04: Squeeze out any excess water and allow them to completely dry for a couple of hours before using them again.

Note: Repeat this process at least once a month to keep your scrunchies clean. If you’re using a cotton scrunchie, you can even wash it in your washing machine on the delicate setting. But if you’re using a silk or linen one, it’s important that you hand wash in order to prevent damage.
