Natural care for dry hair in winter

Dry hair in winter is a problem every person faces if they lack preparation. Using various hair care products definitely helps in improving the texture of your hair but some extra natural care helps it grow much better and shinier. You might already know some natural ways to deal with dry hair in winter but internal factors like genetics and structure of your hair strands also affect it. To make sure your hair gets some all-natural care, use these easy hair masks depending on what concern you want to address.

Slightly Dry

Highly Dry

Early is always better. If you find your hair has started drying or is in an initial state of dryness use a mask of milk and avocado. Mash an avocado and mix it with milk to form a thin paste. Apply this paste to all parts of your scalp and on your hair stands. The paste helps in improving absorption levels in your scalp which further keeps your hair strands fuelled with moisture. The mask also makes your hair strands softer and smoother by acting as a moisture coat on the strands.

Medium Dry

Highly Dry

If your hair has been exposed to extremely dry weather it needs a bit of extra care to restore its natural texture. Try using an apple cider vinegar and almond oil mask to repair your hair from all the damage caused due to winter dryness. Mix both the liquids in equal quantities and massage your scalp and hair strands with the mixture. Leave the solution in your hair for the next twenty minutes and then wash with a gentle shampoo. The mixture helps in restoring moisture back into your hair by boosting the keratin levels in your scalp.

Highly Dry

Highly Dry

If you have naturally dry hair chances are the condition will worsen in winters. You will have to constantly work on the moisture levels in your hair to keep it nourished. Be winter-ready with a biotin hair mask made from eggs and almond oil. Beat two eggs and add a few drops of almond oil to it and mix well to form an even paste. Apply it to your scalp and hair strands and leave for it to dry. Finish by washing your hair with a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Eggs contain natural proteins which are required by your hair and help in improving the texture of your hair by moisturising the core.
