Who doesn’t love a salon-style blowout? There is just something about those silky, smooth, frizz-free strands that instantly boost confidence and make you appear well put-together. But now that we are all at home, the need to style your hair every single day has reduced. Instead, take this opportunity to give your precious tresses a well-deserved break from all the heat styling and allow your natural hair texture to shine through.
This will not only help nurture your hair back to health but also prevent breakage due to excessive heat-induced dryness. Sounds just the kind of therapy your hair needs? Great! Read on for all the dope…

01. Wash your hair less often, but regularly

Now that you're spending the majority of your time indoors, it’s easier to cut down on hair wash days. However, this does not mean that you should skip washing your hair for weeks. Stick to a schedule, and wash your hair a minimum of at least once a week. This will train your scalp to produce less oil over time. Additionally, the natural oils produced by your scalp will help in conditioning and hydrating your strands a lot better.
02. Steam your hair

Steaming your hair is one of the most underrated ways to moisturise your strands by allowing your strands to better absorb all the goodness from your hair care products. It helps open the cuticles to let in more moisture, improve shine and elasticity. After applying a hair mask or conditioner, steam your hair for about 15-20 minutes and then wash it off as usual.
03. Use a leave-in conditioner

Leave-in conditioners are really beneficial, especially if your natural hair texture is super dry and frizzy. A leave-in conditioner such as the TIGI Bed Head Ego Boost Leave-in Conditioner and Split End Mender not only helps to moisturise your strands but also prevents unnecessary breakage and split ends. Apply this product once every two days to cut down on the frizz and keep your strands looking healthy.
04. Use a water and oil mixture

Did you know, a mixture of water and oil can moisturise your hair and tame frizzy locks? We bet not. Water helps to deliver a boost of hydration(thanks to its quick absorbent properties) while oil forms a protective layer to help seal in the moisture. This helps in intensely moisturising and hydrating your strands to prevent breakage.
Mix a few drops of oil (coconut, olive or almond) in a tumbler of water and use it as a final rinse after hair wash. It’s that simple!
