Irrespective of your hair colour, texture, style or type, everyone wants hair that looks like they have just stepped out of the salon at all times. And why not? Hair is considered to be the crowning glory and a good hair day can instantly provide an added boost of confidence.

But for your hair to look and feel its best, you need to make a little effort, because honestly, no good thing comes for free. Pollution, stress, lifestyle and lack of a hair care routine are only some of the things that wreak havoc on your strands and make them dry and lacklustre.

If you are someone who is tired of constantly battling dry, frizzy hair, then this article is for you. Here’s the perfect hair care routine for dry hair; it will leave your strands feeling extremely soft, frizz-free and nourished.

Step 01: Hair oil

If you have dry hair, then it is really important to give your hair some extra nourishment with a hot oil treatment. Before washing your strands, heat a little bit of the Indulekha Bringha Hair Oil and massage it onto your scalp using your fingers. Leave it on for 1 to 2 hours before moving on to the next step.

Step 02: Alternate hair oil with a weekly hair mask treatment

You don’t have to wait for a special occasion to use a hair mask; people with dry and frizzy hair need to make a hair mask part of their weekly routine. Since hair damage is one of the main causes of dryness, we recommend you use the TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Treatment Mask. This mask not just softens hair and reduces frizz, but also works at strengthening it.

Step 03: Shampoo

Now it’s time for shampoo. Always remember that it is highly inadvisable to wash your hair every single day as it tends to make your hair drier and frizzier. Therefore, stick to washing your hair two to three times a week. Use a hydrating and moisturising shampoo such as the Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo. It helps to thoroughly cleanse your scalp and moisturises your strands to leave them soft and frizz-free.

Step 04: Condition

If you want your hair to feel and look soft and silky, then you should never skimp on conditioner. We recommend you try the Dove Oxygen Moisture Conditioner as it works really well to smoothen hair, control frizz and reduce tangling.

BB pro tip: Do not wash your hair with really hot water as it strips your hair of moisture and further dries it out. Therefore, always wash your hair using lukewarm to cold water and see the difference.

Step 05: Leave-in conditioner

Don’t think your hair care routine ends now that your hair is washed and conditioned, because it is now time for leave-in conditioner. You can use the TIGI Bed Head Ego Boost Leave-in Conditioner and Split End Mender. Formulated with keratin, this product moisturises hair making it feel softer and makes it easier to comb. It also adds that soft texture and natural shine to your locks.

Step 06: Serum

If you have dry hair, then your hair care routine must include a serum, as this prevents the appearance of frizz, moisturises strands and protects them from further damage. The Toni & Guy Glamour Serum Drops is the perfect choice for you as just two to three drops prevent frizz, flyaways and give your hair a super glossy finish.
