No matter how prim and proper you like to keep your hair on a day to day basis, your preferences certainly shift when you are on vacation. Suddenly, you do not really care about how you’ll manage your hair after a dip in the ocean or if your tresses are in place after a night of partying with the girls. But let us tell you that ignoring your hair while on vacay can result in some not-so-cute selfies that you’ll regret looking at once you’re back to the grind.

Having said that, we are not suggesting you carry a whole arsenal of styling products and spend 30 minutes styling your hair while on vacay. But instead, spend 3-5 minutes creating some cute vacation hairstyles that require minimal styling products that you’ll probably find in an average hotel room. Here are some of the hairstyles to get inspired from…

01. Knotty

Let’s start with the easiest one of the lot. Simply tie two sections of hair from both the sides into a loose knot and secure with bobby pins. You can curl the ends if you have a curling rod on you or simply leave it as is.

02. Cheeky braids

Want to elevate your vacay casuals with a fun hairdo? These cheeky braids will do the job! Prep your hair with a serum and divide your hair into two sections. Secure the sections high on your head with hair ties and braid them. Pull out dainty tendrils in the front to finish the look.

03. Foxy and fun

If your plans for the evening include a dressy location, this clean and sleek hairstyle will come in handy. Straighten out any flyways and secure two half ponytails tightly to the top of your head. Secure them tightly to give your face that supermodel-like snatched and lifted effect.

04. Scarf braided bun

This one's a bit dressier as well but still takes about five minutes to create. Make a loop on one end of the braid and secure it with a hair tie. Then run a strand of hair through the loop — do this till you reach the nape of your neck. Then secure the rest of the hair into a bun and wrap the remaining scarf around it. Chic and easy, right?

05. Short baby braids

Short-haired girls worry not; we have got you covered as well! Nothing says fun and fashionable as cute baby braids. Add some chic waves to the rest of your hair to make it look a bit more voluminous and done up. Spritz some hairspray to keep the hairstyle in place.
