Sleep with your hair tied up

Blowouts usually lose their shape when you sleep on them and your hair ends up looking limp and flat. But to keep your hair looking perfectly blow-dried for longer, here’s what you can do. If you have curls, gently roll them up and secure the curls in place using bobby pins. Wrap your head in a silk scarf while you sleep. When you open your hair in the morning, your hair will look super fresh and bouncy.

A straight and smooth blowout, however, requires a different technique. After you’ve brushed your hair to remove any tangles or knots, tie your hair back in a loose ponytail. Remember to use a soft, flexible hair tie so as not to create any pressure. Or simply wrap your entire hair in a silk scarf.
