Step 01: Start by spritzing a generous amount of the Dove Volume and Fullness Dry Shampoo all over your roots to get rid of the excess greasiness, lift your roots and instantly refresh them.

Step 02: Gather all your hair to one side and use an elastic to tie your hair into a ponytail at the nape of your neck.

Step 03: Roughly divide your hair into two equal sections and take a tiny piece of hair from the left side and move it over onto the right side. Next, take a small section from the right side and pass it over onto the left side. Ensure that each piece of hair sits right in between the two sections of your ponytail.

Step 04: Repeat step 03 until you reach the end of the ponytail. Secure your braid with either a scrunchie, hairpin or clear elastic.

Step 05: Finally, cut off the clear elastic at the base of the braid. Pull a few sections of the braid to loosen it and give it a nice, messy texture. Don’t pull too hard, or the braid might come off it.

Spray on a light hold hair spray like the Tresemme Compressed Micro Mist Invisible Hold Natural Finish Texture Hold Level 1 Hair Spray to keep your braid in place if you’re planning to wear it all day long.
