So grab that bottle of dry shampoo off the shelf and continue reading as we tell you how to apply dry shampoo the right way for clean, oil-free tresses.

How to use dry shampoo the right way for clean, grease-free tresses

What time you use dry shampoo during the day is highly crucial. Instead of spraying it on during the day, just before stepping out, experts recommend you to use it in the PM — just before hitting the sheets. This is because it gives the product enough time to absorb all the oils. Plus, all tossing and turning in the night will distribute the product evenly through your tresses, allowing you to wake up with fresh, bouncy and voluminous strands the following day.

Step 01: Start by dividing your hair into sections. Hold the Dove Volume and Fullness Dry Shampoo can at least 8 to 10 inches away from the scalp and spray generously under each section. This will prevent product concentration in one area and reduce the chances of a build-up.

Step 02: Now, instead of massaging the product into your scalp, wait for a few minutes to let it work its magic. During this waiting period, the dry shampoo soaks away any excess oil and sweat to leave your scalp clean and dry. Hence, wait for about 10 minutes before moving onto the next step.

Step 03: Now, gently massage the product into your scalp using your fingertips. This is also a great way to evenly distribute the product and get more volume.

Step 04: The following day, simply run your fingers through your hair to separate the strands and there you have it! Fresh, clean and bouncy tresses at your fingertips.
