Most girls share a love-hate relationship with their bangs. While bangs are a quick-fire way to switch up your look, maintaining them and getting them to look perfect every day is a struggle that’s highly underrated. But did you know that getting your bangs to behave is indeed possible with just one product that you might already own — a dry shampoo?

Using dry shampoo helps maintain the bangs and prevents them from looking greasy and flat in-between washes. Scroll down to find out how…

But before we begin, let’s find out why bangs get oily in the first place

But before we begin, let’s find out why bangs get oily in the first place

Bangs look great on the day you wash them, but by the end of the day, they start to look really limp and greasy. Our hands come in contact with so many things throughout the day. Additionally, the residual grease from your skincare products transfer onto your bangs as you keep touching and adjusting them throughout the day, leading to excess oil accumulation. This is one of the major reasons why bangs get oilier faster as compared to the rest of your hair. Secondly, using too many styling products can leave behind some residue, which can again weigh down your bangs, making them look greasy and limp.

But here’s how dry shampoo can prevent this problem for good –

Step 01: Start with dividing your hair into three to four small sections and hold them in place using hairpins. This will ensure maximum product absorption.

Step 02: Next, use a volumising dry shampoo like the Dove Volume and Fullness Dry Shampoo to refresh your bangs. Hold the bottle about 10 inches away from your head and spray a tiny amount of the product right onto the roots.

Step 03: Unpin your bangs and allow the product to do its own thing, and soak up all the grease for a couple of minutes.

Step 04: Finally, gently massage the product into your scalp and comb your bangs to distribute the excess evenly.

Do this thing every night before bed to keep your bangs looking fresh. Try this, and we promise you won’t regret getting bangs at all!
