Try this cool and classy bun without having to bother about flyways and sweat on your neck. And, this can be pulled off in less than three minutes, trust us. Brush your hair and pull it in a mid-high ponytail. Wrap the ponytail around the hair tie and make a messy bun. Secure with bobby pins and tie a silk scarf around the bun. There, a chic updo that’s summer-perfect.

Side swept braid

A side braid makes for an incredibly pretty and elegant hairstyle that also keeps hair and sweat away from your face on a hot day. Rock this quick braid while you don’t have time to spare in the morning. Start by mid parting your hair. Twist and tuck the front section of your hair from the bigger section working your way till the back of ear. Pin it with bobby pins. Braid your hair in a side swept fishtail or normal three-strand and secure with a hair tie.

Braided ponytail

If you’re not into buns and braids, and ponytail is more your thing, here is a chic ponytail that’s anything but boring. Sport this braided ponytail to keep sweat at bay when it’s sweltering outside. Take a small section from 2 inches above your ear and make a fishtail braid out of it, adding hair as you go, up to the back of hair. Secure it with bobby pin. Pull rest of your hair in a ponytail and add a hair tie to secure. Wrap the braided hair around the hair tie, remove the bobby pin and you’re done.
