There’s nothing we’d want to change about Blake Lively’s look. Everything from her gown to the bright red lips to her hair – she was picture perfect. Let’s face it, no one can wear a bun with as much panache and look that glamorous. Right? In our effort to replicate Blake’s hair, Shailesh pulled all of our model Laura’s hair back into a low ponytail and then twisted it around itself to make a bun. He then finished off with super long hair extensions and secured the faux bun with U-Pins.
Voila! One word of advice, this hairdo would work wonderfully well on anyone with a smaller face and lesser defined jawline. If you’ve got a bigger build, the last thing you’ll want is this OTT hairdo accentuating it.
Marion Cotillard has been on every man, woman and fashion magazine’s radar ever since she stepped into the limelight. While we loved all of her looks at Cannes, it was her super-edgy take on the bob that really caught our attention.
Shailesh blow dried our model Alyssa’s hair with a side parting. He pulled back the hair from the left side of the parting and pinned it near the nape of her neck. He then pulled back all of her hair from the right side, all the way across the base of her head and over to the left side where he twisted it inwards and secured it with bobby pins.
Voila! We loved this take on Marion Cotillard’s hairdo. Our model went from waist length hair to a faux bob in under thirty minutes. However, as classy as this may look, if you’re attempting to wear it anytime soon, make sure you’ve got plenty of hair styling apparatus and a friend on standby.
