Lemon juice has a good amount of citric acid and Vitamin C that acts as a good skin lightening agent. Take a slice of lemon and rub it on your skin, let it dry and wash it off instantly with cold water. Remember to not let the lemon juice sit on your skin for a long time. Lemon juice, rose water and cucumber extract
Here we are going to mix the goodness of citric acid with the soothing properties of rose water and cooling hydrant properties of a cucumber. Take a tablespoon of these 3 ingredients, and apply it on your skin and wash it off when it’s dry. This will help to remove tan while hydrating your skin and making you feel refreshed.
Bengal gram flour (besan) and turmeric
Turmeric has been used since ages as a natural agent for skin lightening and also for its antiseptic properties. To remove tan, mix a half tablespoon of turmeric with 2 tablespoons of gram flour and make a thick paste by adding cold milk and rose water. Apply a thick layer on your face and scrub it off once it’s dry. It will help to exfoliate the skin and remove the tan.
Tomato and Aloe Vera
Tomatoes are a citrus fruit with a good quantity of Vitamin C and antioxidants while Aloe Vera is an overall natural remedy for skin and hair with numerous benefits. Take tomato pulp and add Aloe extract to it, mix it well and apply generously on your skin. Let it sit for 25 to 30 minutes and wash it off with cold water.
Honey and Papaya
Here’s a sweet treat for your skin that will help you to effectively remove tan. Mash a slice of raw papaya and add a tablespoon of pure honey, mix it well and apply to your skin. It will make your skin feel sticky but let it dry and wash it off with cold water.
Buttermilk and Oats
Sounds like a breakfast recipe, isn’t it? It’s a great recipe to remove tan and give your skin a new life. Oats acts as a natural exfoliator for your skin and helps to remove dead skin cells while buttermilk helps to reduce discolouration. Take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and mix it well with 3-4 tablespoon of buttermilk until you get a thick consistency now massage it on your tanned skin in a circular motion for 5 to 7 minutes and wash it off with cold water.
Tomato juice and yogurt
