The high bun is our favourite go-to. It’s there to rescue us on low maintenance days when our hair looks like a mess or at the gym, and we can even side with it when we’re headed for an evening out or an office party. But sometimes we’ve had to deal with the odd hair strands sticking out or too much of hair spray to hold it in place. To put an end to all of that and ensure that office party the bun looks super neat no matter what the occasion, here is a stepwise guide on how you can make the perfect hair bun hairstyle using socks…
Before you begin, condition your hair with the Sunsilk Long and Healthy Conditioner which will ensure you have frizz-free hair that’s easy to work with.
You will need:
a hair brush, rubber bands, a set of socks and a set of scissors.
- Step 1: Cut the bottom of the sock off and roll it up into a bun.
- Step 2: Now add the second sock to the bun and roll that around the first sock as well. This is your doughnut.
- Step 3: Tie your hair into a high ponytail and roll the sock through it—from the bottom to the top so that it sits on your ponytail.
- Step 4: Then slide your ponytail into the sock from all sides to loop all your hair into the doughnut and secure it tight.
There you have it!
