Personally, I believe that any accessory you carry is like a lipstick: it uplifts your look. And keeping that ideology in mind, I would suggest you be very careful in what you’re getting your hands on this season (and every other, too).
The accessories spotted this season at Lakmé Fashion Week Spring Summer 2015 have an array of sorts: from tribal and tasseled to bug-ish(and border line creepy). The beauty in each of these pieces has been to be able to maintain one common theme – the reinvention of spring. With pops of colour knocking the look of your jholas out of the park and jewelry becoming the new high heel, you know you have to shop smart this Spring Summer.
I found that the jewellery pieces were versatile enough to go from modern and intrinsic in design to simple, and the balance between the 21st century cuts and traditional influences were easy to spot. Headgear being among the biggest rages this season, it really is the one piece that can bring back the retro wave with such ease.
All in all, my simplest tips to you would be to make sure you find the balance between your silver and gold, along with maintainingequilibrium between your contemporary and tribal pieces. Don’t forget that if you’re sticking to just one piece, you’d may as well let that be the only one!
