Almost every other year, we see designers and brands attempt a brand-new version of the classic denim and we can’t say we are complaining. Ruffled, deconstructed, embroidered and recycled—denim has been designed and redesigned in more ways than you can imagine.
Here are some of our favourite denim trends from 2018...
These high-waisted, washed and patterned jeans from H&M with side and back pockets and wide-leg hems are a new take on the classic denim pants and we love it! The Mickey Mouse print totally helps us channel the 90s kid in us.
Denim pant suit
This denim pant suit from Zara with its patch pockets is everything! When this denim V-neck jacket with long sleeves and patch pockets on the sleeves is married to high-waisted jeans, you get a pant suit so chic you will want to wear it everywhere.
Shirt with a bow
If you are a fan of pussy bows and bell sleeves, here’s some good news: you can wear your favourite bows in denim too! The long-sleeved denim shirt featuring a high collar bow, patch pockets and metal snap-buttons is perfect for a formal do.
A coloured denim pant suit
This denim suit in red with side welt pockets, contrasting threadwork and pockets is so versatile, you can wear it to a formal do, a dinner outing or even movie night. Just make sure you accessorise it according to where you are headed.
Paper bag waists
Paper-bag waists are in this season and when it comes to paper-bag waists in denim, they are definitely something we’d like to lay our hands on. These hi-rise jeans with back pockets and tie-up waist detailing are such a chic take on the regular jeans.
