White is a summer staple that does complete justice to your sun-kissed skin and stocking up them will help ready you for any occasion…

- For an everyday casual outing
- To a friend’s wedding
- For an evening out with friends
To the board room
This season saw some chic white pant suits and we can’t get over the one by Masaba.
The cuts of the suit make it stand out from any other pant suit that there was. The high waist trouser with a high-low hem and a well fit blazer with some basic Masaba staple prints is just the way to take on boardroom fashion.
To the beach party
This summer resort season we saw a lot of flowy cocktail maxi dresses but this one by Karan Malhotra is the perfect white for an evening party by the beach.
Fearless, young, bold but all that in muted colours; Karan Malhotra’s one-pieces in feminine silhouettes and neutral base of white had many elements and cuts like the accentuated mesh that added to the edge and flow of the outfit equally.
For an everyday casual outing
White shirt with classic blue jeans:
This classic white shirt, blue denim combination is never getting old and Monisha Jaising’s spin to the look will make you want it all the more.
The fact that the simple blue jeans can be brought to life with heavy embroidery is a welcome spin on the look. The simple white shirt adorned with statement sleeves and accented neck lines also re-invents this otherwise casual look.
To a friend’s wedding
Summer weddings are an ideal time to add white to your ethnic wardrobe. Traditional, heavily embroidered anarkalis and gowns with embellished jackets totally had us at Rohit Bal’s show this season.
Rohit Bal’s grand finale outing with the ethnic whites and muted golden is every girl’s dream summer wedding collection. Wear it to your friend’s wedding or make it a part of your own trousseau, white ethnics in two and three-pieces seemed to come to our sartorial rescue.
For an evening out with friends
We can’t help but go gaga over Monisha Jaisingh’s white shift dresses, rompers, bodysuits and knee length cocktail maxi dresses.
The best part about casual formals is that they need not be restricted. And Monisha Jaisingh’s white romper with a sleeveless white long coat is perfect for a dinner or drinks with your friends. For more formal or casual occasions she also presented the shift dresses and long maxis in the white palette with bursts of golden shimmer.
