One of the most vibrant of all British designers, Henry Holland’s collections have always sparked controversy and a generous amount of fanfare. Bringing his London design sensibilities closer to home, his partnership with Koovs has indeed sprung a unique and refreshing collection that we can’t help lust after.

Speaking of his love for fashion over tea, Henry added, “I always work my outfit to complement my shoes instead of the other way round. I pack two suitcases full of shoes for my travels. I think fashion is getting more global and I’m loving that cobalt blue that has been quite a hit on the runway.” Our first glance at the collection on koovs.com and we were already calling dibs at what we’d want to loosen our purse strings on. Here’s our editor’s pick of the seven Henry Holland must-haves that had us at hello.

Easy and chic

Palazzos are summer’s call to packing in style and comfort in one. This number hits all the right notes in the ‘monotone’ category and looks good just as is with a simple white button down.

The perfect midi

We’re absolutely in love with the midi length as it is super easy to carry off and works on any body type. We’d ask you to team this fuchsia floral number with an off-white blouse or t-shirt.

Colour spotting

We’re all about making quirky wearable and this jumper does just that. It’s all the colour you need to make your look pop. We say pair it with basic ice blue jeans and add ballerinas in a contrasting colour like a hot pink or cobalt blue.

A tropical canvas

Look effortlessly stylish in the summer heat with this kaftan-inspired tropical printed dress in forest hues. We’d totally pair this floosy piece with high wedges in nude to balance out the colour riot.

Delicious nail art

While we’re not fans on stick-on nails, we’re tilting towards changing our mind having looked at these! How sweet are these ice cream cone pastel acrylics? Warning though, as this may not be an everyday thing. Reserve these for special theme parties where you’d be excused to go stylishly crazy.

Keeping it young

This adorable pocketed baby doll dress just won extra brownie points from us. The green sequinned palm trees splashed on the purple give much vibrancy to the look and we’d definitely wear this to a dinner party or even for brunch with the girls as the colour works for both. Pair this number with cutesy ear tops and that’s all the bling you need.

Learn the ropes

We love Henry Holland’s take on the body con dress with the infusion of out-of-the-box prints. Trust him to make this one-piece rope printed number look fab. Works well for a casual dinner date.
