THE STYLECRACKER BOROUGH ENLIVENS MUMBAI
Just like some classic brands you must own, there are events you must attend. Dressed to the nines, feeling stylish and with ample doses of excitement, we were oh-so-kicked about one such event, the StyleCracker Borough, which was held at the Palladium Hotel recently.

BOROUGH ENLIVENS MUMBAI

Organised and hosted by the bevy of top notch stylists that run StyleCracker, the exhibition had 60 participating brands, including Payal Singhal, Koecsh, Le Mill, Bombay Shirt Company, Akaliko, Sole Fry and dozens more. Set at the Terrace Gardens of the hotel, overlooking the breathtaking view of the city, the innumerable stalls comprised the best of clothes, accessories, shoes and décor.

Our favourites amongst the baubles were the beautiful hand embroidered and jeweled belts by Papa Don’t Preach and the lovely gold earrings from the celebrity favourite, House of Chic. StyleCrackers’ team of stylists and experts were present to help enthusiastic shoppers, keeping in mind their individual style, budget and personality.

The event also featured food and drinks by the hotel’s award-wining Oriental restaurant Mekong and world cuisine restaurant Seven Kitchens. We also took the liberty to cool our heels over summery cocktails and peppy music. The borough also featured a complimentary makeover by Lakmé Absolute Salon and advice from leading style experts. We popped by the booth and availed of some exciting offers and discounts on hair and skin treatments and took the opportunity to doll-up!

Changing my career to fashion at the age of 27 was a risk that I'm glad I took! I don't think there is any substitute for hard work. I can be overly shy and self conscious one day and feel like I can conquer the world the next. You have to try my caramel pudding and chicken soup and don't even dare playing charades with me—I'm super competitive. I love what I do and am always looking for a way to take it up a notch!
