India International Jewellery Week gets together some of the finest jewellery houses and brands from all over India to showcase their latest and best jewellery designs on one platform, supported by lavish designer outfits from many top designers. Having modeled personally for IIJW from its first year, we can vouch for the absolute ability of many of the designs to take one's breath away. With every passing year, the event has been getting grander with many Bollywood celebrities and bigger brands associating with it. This year was no different in terms of its grandiose effect on the audience and its reach to the masses. Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor who is also the brand ambassador of IIJW inaugurated the event in a backless emerald green gown by international fashion designer Michael Costello. The pretty and unassuming gown never let you guess what it had in store for you till Sonam turned her back to you!
