Colour washed lids—Valentino
When the collection is themed ‘romance and poetry’, it’s only obvious that the makeup looks would to be dreamy! Models walked the Valentino runway with lids and lower lash line painted in subtle washes of red, hot pink, lilac and green.
Metallic lashes and white liner—Giambattista Valli
Makeup artist Val Garland took the concept of dramatic lashes to next level for the Giambattista Valli’s show. Silver metallic lashes using a reflective craft paper was applied below the lower lash line. The look stood out with floating white liner and ‘no-makeup’ look.
Wing gone wild—Haider Ackermann
The Haider Ackemann show saw razor sharp straight liner in red and black that was traced along the eye. The rest of the look was kept minimal with glossy pink lips and slicked back hair.
Accessorised half up, half down—Chanel
Chanel showcased Karl Lagerfeld’s last collection in a snowy set up. The look was kept natural with nude lips and no makeup in sight. However the hair tied half up and accessorised with beautiful brooches, barrettes, and ribbons grabbed all the attention.
Crimson lips—Louis Vuitton
Models walked down the runway of Louis Vuitton rocking deep crimson lips, elongated wing and skull caps for a collection named geolocated, that celebrated different tribes and subcultures.
Luxe Glam—Alexander McQueen
A runway look of Alexander McQueen with sleek hair, glossy skin and nude lip was full of attitude and glamour. Strong brow game and no eye makeup did justice to the intense and aesthetic runway look.
Glitter Scatter—Dries Van Noten
Randomly scattered glitter on the lids in gold, silver and different colours stole the show at the Dries Van Noten runway. The messy sparkle lids is the coolest glitter trend yet.
Twiggy lashes—Christian Dior
The Christian Dior’s Fall collection celebrated ‘Sisterhood’ with the retro punk look. The look with twiggy lashes, thick liner and bucket hats was inspired by the 50’s rebellion girl gang, Teddy Girls.
