01. Hot oil massage
Malaika’s long and healthy locks are a result of weekly hot oil massages. Her mom advised her to oil her hair every Sunday. She uses a mixture of three oils for this weekly hot oil treatment. Mixing castor oil, olive oil and coconut oil makes for a really good concoction for hair. This combination controls frizz, promotes hair growth and adds a beautiful shine.
02. Rub ice on the face
This is one beauty tip that a lot of people follow all over the world. Rubbing an ice cube on the face reduces puffiness as well as pore size. It offers instant relief and calms the skin. This tip works particularly well during summer when the weather is harsh and your skin could use some cooling from the ice to reduce redness on the face.
03. Rubbing beetroot on face
One beauty tip that Malaika swears by and has often revealed in interviews over the years is rubbing beetroot on the face. Her mom doesn’t like too much makeup and used to rub beetroot on her and sister Amrita’s face. The actress still follows theis tip to this day to make her face look fresh and glowing.
