October truly is the best time of the year; yes, it usually signifies the start of the festive season and the onset of colder months, but we love it for one reason, and one reason only — Lakmé Fashion Week. This year's IRL showcase (after a long drought of real fashion shows!) was, in a word, stunning! The fashion was gorgeous through and through, and the beauty trends at Lakmé Fashion Week 2021 were second to none.
From card parties to intimate gatherings, the beauty trends at Lakmé Fashion Week work for every occasion — which is a blessing now that the festive season is in full swing. Ahead, we're letting you in on all the beauty trends we spotted at the event... Bookmark these for later!

1. Berry Lips

Seasoned designer Gaurav Gupta's clothing was accompanied by bold, berry lips all-around at the Lakmé Absolute Grand Finale. The glam look was also spotted at Abraham And Thakore, Tarun Tahiliani, and more, making it an absolute must-have in your festive season beauty arsenal.
2. Monochrome lids

One of the most stunning eye makeup trends out here (and NGL, perfect for lazy girls), monochrome lids stole the show at Monisha Jaising and Anamika Khanna. The shows featured models with a single sweep of colour all over their peepers — be it matte or shimmery — and we're here for it!
3. Blushed-up temples

We first spotted this on the red carpet at the Met Gala this year, followed by international fashion weeks — and we're glad that this trend has found its way back home too, at the Lakmé Fashion Week 2021. Chola's beauty looks featured a unique blush placement at the temples near the forehead and on top of the cheekbones (where the contour would normally be), making for a striking statement.
4. Playful inner corners

2021 seems to be the year for fun eye trends more than anything else, and the playful takes on inner corners spotted at Limerick and Pankaj And Nidhi are proof. From neon mattes to shimmery silvers, this is definitely an eye-catching look for all occasions.
5. Eyeliner experiments

In-line with all the eyeliner experimentation we've been upto, the beauty trends at Lakmé Fashion Week 2021 were no different. From edgy triple wings at Payal Jain, to sharp inner strokes at Tarun Tahiliani, to even crystal-liner at Arpita Mehta, we've managed to garner a whole new set of inspiration for eyeliner.
6. Bronzed perfection

Thanks to all the warm, bronzed cheekbones we spotted at almost every show in the week, we know one thing for certain now — bronzer is never going out of style! Whether it was at JJ Valaya or Samant Chauhan, we're just glad we don't have to kiss our sun-kissed cheekbones goodbye anytime soon.
7. Glowing goddess

Our love story with dewy, glowing skin is never-ending, and the trends at Lakmé Fashion Week 2021 were further proof that you can 'dew' no wrong when there's dew involved. Take notes from the Arpita Mehta show and opt for glossy lids, or go the JJ Valaya route and try natural, radiant, glowing skin.
8. Slicked-back hair

Slicked-back hair is all the rage at international fashion weeks, and it seems like Indian designers understood the assignment too. With near-wet, slicked-back hair spotted at Gaurav Gupta's show at the Lakmé Absolute Grand Finale, we're definitely bookmarking this cool girl hair trend for later!
