The Fall 2021 season wraps up in the French fashion capital this week. Despite the pandemic, designers showcased stunning look books on the runways sans audience. The hair and makeup looks that accompanied their designs are totally noteworthy. Right from bold eyelids to blunt fringes, the glam teams backstage brought their A-game in terms of creativity.

A pop of colour is all you need to elevate your makeup looks. This was proved with the bright and bold eye colours on the Versace runway. Neon shades in fuchsia, lime green and aqua took centre stage and emerged as a major trend at the Paris Fashion Week.

Since masks are still a part of our lives, bold eye makeup and nude lips continue to be the trend of the season. Makeup artist Peter Philips gave models a sooty smokey eye to complement Dior’s dark and poetic collection.

Fringes continue to rule in the hair department. This season of Paris Fashion Week saw bangs in almost every size. Right from micro fringes at Rick Owens to eyebrow grazing blunt bangs at Chanel. It is safe to say you will be spotting bold, fierce and unapologetic fringes everywhere this season.

Slicked back hair on runways is a thing of the past. This season middle partings were all the rage at the Paris Fashion Week. After all these years of side parting and no parting hair looks, the middle parting hair on models walking for Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Isabel Marant felt modern and fresh.
