Needless to say, the Paris Fall-Winter 2019 Haute Couture Week was 5 days of unbridled fashion and fun. Held between 30 June and 4 July 2019, we were blessed with some beyond-gorgeous ensembles, on runways and off. Celine Dion made the streets of Paris her own personal runway and was unmistakably the icon of all icons with her offbeat fashion and beauty choices.
Ms Dion aside, there were many A-list celebs who sizzled on the front rows of the many fashion shows, and we rounded up a few of our favourite looks for you here!
Nicole Kidman got her colour blocking right with a sequinned black gown and white blazer, but what we loved best was that hot red lip that added a pop of colour to the ensemble.
Now, why didn’t we think of cropped tuxedo shirts before Zendaya stepped out in this stunning design? She paired it with the on-trend wet hair look and very pale-to-nude makeup.
The Canadian crooner absolutely smashed it out of the park with her style file in Paris. We particularly loved this stunning number with the exaggerated sleeves. What do you do with your hair and makeup when you wear such a dramatic outfit? Keep it simple, silly! A sleek top knot and bare makeup is all she needed to make the outfit sing!
The ‘This is us’ actor wore an electric blue kaftan dress and matched her makeup to the outfit. A single eyeshadow sweep of pale blue with pale pink lips with centre-parted wavy hair and we were sold!
The Canadian model wore a monochrome outfit in white and teamed it with a bright sweep of orange on her eyes and subtly matched with a bold lip colour in the same shade. Genius, we say!
Margot Robbie has always given us eye makeup goals and this time is no different. A half eye liner along the crease is just what the beauty doctor ordered to drive the blues away!
Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Mrs Jonas stuck to her staple of berry lips and glow-y skin with a textured, tied back low bun. The over-extension of the eye liner is worth noticing, as this is a trend that has been spotted on many Paris runways.
