Divyanka Tripathi swears by this simple routine for long, lustrous hair

While we love flipping, styling, and playing with our hair, we tend to become very ignorant and lazy when it comes to taking care of them. And well, it is a truth universally acknowledged that all good things in life need a little love and care, and the same goes for your hair too. But fret not, for we’re sharing a simple hair care tip that none other than television’s favourite actress, Divyanka Tripathi, swears by.

In a recent interview with a publication, Divyanka attributes her long, lustrous hair to regular oiling. She was encouraged to make oiling a regular part of her hair care routine by her husband, actor Vivek Dhaiya. She even confessed that oiling wasn’t a part of her routine before but can’t get enough of it thanks to the numerous benefits it provides. Wanna know what they are? Scroll down to find out

01. Nourishes the scalp

Reduces dandruff

Lack of hydration and nourishment is one of the top reasons you lose so many hair strands every day. We subject our mane to heat styling tools, sun exposure and various chemical-laden hair products, which rob the essential moisturiser from our tresses and leave them dry and lacklustre. Oiling your hair with oils like coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil provides it with the much-needed nourishment required to stay healthy and hydrated.

02. Boosts hair growth

Reduces dandruff

A good hot oil massage can help boost hair growth. This helps stimulate blood circulation on your scalp, which helps nourish your hair follicles that can promote hair growth. Jojoba oil, olive oil or even the good ol’ coconut oil is great if you desire long and manageable tresses.

03. Reduces dandruff

Reduces dandruff

Dandruff is probably one of the most irritating yet common hair care concerns that we all face. Those embarrassing white flakes on your shoulders and hair can be prevented and reduced if you make oiling a regular part of your hair care regimen. Dry scalp is one of the leading causes of dandruff, so massaging hot oil to your scalp hydrates it and prevents dead skin cell build-up.
