Malaika Arora's Tips For Dealing With Virus-induced Hair Fall
Written by Sanya HamdaniOct 13, 2020
During the lockdown, celebrities took to social media to share their best-kept beauty tips and tricks for gorgeous skin and hair. Malaika Arora, too, has been sharing the secret to her long, shiny and healthy tresses in her #TrickOrTip series on Instagram. The actress, who recently recovered from the virus, said that she has been experiencing intense hair fall post-recovery.
“Hair loss is one demon that we all have to face in our lives… for some, it comes in phases and for some, it’s like an everyday problem. But we don’t need to fear it. Just need to tackle it the correct way. Apart from maintaining a healthy diet, we can use some simple DIY tips to control the hair fall. Post my recovery (from the virus), I have been experiencing an intense hair fall than usual, so apart from my daily dose of good ol' vitamins, I have also restarted my one ingredient DIY hair fall therapy,” Malaika wrote on IGTV post.
Hair loss is a common problem and every woman has experienced it at some point in her life. For some, it is a result of stress and poor hair care habits, for others it may occur while recovering from an illness. However, there’s nothing that natural ingredients and good hair care products can’t fix. Here’s what Malaika has been doing to curb hair fall.
“Just grate one fresh onion and extract its juice; now, apply the juice to your scalp with the help of a cotton ball. Keep it for some time and then wash it off with a paraben-free shampoo. You'll see the results within a week and trust me… you'll not be disappointed,” says Malaika.
Why a paraben-free shampoo, you ask? Well, because it is gentle on your hair and scalp. A paraben-free shampoo does not rob the natural oils from your hair; thereby, keeping it moisturised and healthy. Well-nourished hair is less prone to breakage and hair fall. The Love Beauty & Planet Smooth and Serene Shampoo with Argan Oil and Lavender Aromais a silicone-free, dye-free and paraben-free formula that is perfect for gentle cleansing of all hair types.
