Gigi and Bella Hadid are a unique kind of supermodels - the stunning sisters always slay on the runway but off it, they are just two fashionistas with their own unique sense of style. While Bella has been in her ‘Y2K’ phase for the past couple of months, Gigi has been keeping it rather simple. Which makes sense for a busy new mom doing it all. This is why when she stepped out on her birth-date with baby-daddy Zayn Malik, her elevated casual separates paired with a cutesy hairstyle was such a treat to spot on our timeline! Gigi looks cute in her face-framing rubberband bubble ponytails in the front - they are trendy, easy and the perfect accessory to twirl between your freshly manicured fingers while flirting on your date! Note the easy part that we just mentioned? Well, we aren’t kidding because this off-duty model hairdo is super achievable and here’s how to do it…

How to

How to

Step 01: Prep - Gigi has naturally straight and flat hair so her prep goal was to add some volume to the mane, but still maintain the sleek, straight look. Prep your hair with the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Hair Serum and the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Spray to keep heat styling damage to a minimum.

Step 02: Straighten - Remember that we want a very natural-looking straight mane for this look. So start by parting your hair down the middle and sectioning it in 3-4 cm wide strands; straighten on medium heat. Bend the end of the hair sideways just slightly to create baby flicks. Do not go for the pin-straight look as that can look a little flat. Once done, layer on the TIGI Bed Head After Party Smoothing Cream to arrest any flyaways and add some softness to the tresses.

Step 03: Make the ponytails - Grab two front sections of your hair to create your baby bubbly ponytails, you can play with the thickness of it if you want. Start by securing a single rubber band right on top, backcomb underneath the hair with just a few swipes and secure with another band. Keep doing this till you reach the bottom and leave a few centimetres undone at the ends. Voila, you are done!
