8 quick and easy hairstyles for working women

If you are a working professional and are always on your toes, then we understand your plight! We get how difficult it is for you to find the time to dress your hair up every morning. So if you are tired of wearing that—I just got out of bed and pulled my hair into a ponytaillook, we’ve got your back!

With never-ending deadlines and laundry nights, getting a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast is a dream! To help your morning go that much smoother, we’ve curated eight quick and easy hairstyles that’ll make your office look go from drab to fab in an instant.

Scarf updo

All you need to do for this classic yet chic look is get a scarf or a thick hair band and tuck sections of your hair around the band. Once they are all in place, secure your strands with a few bobby pins and you’re good to go.

Knotted ponytail

Separate your hair into two even sections, and pull one over the other and tug on each side to tighten the knot. While holding the knot in place, use a rubber-band to tie the ponytail just below where the knot is. If you want to go a step further you can even take a strand of hair and wrap it around the elastic to make your look that much more polished.

Tease and tie

For those of you that resonate with the phrase “hot mess”, this 2-minute hairstyle is perfect for you. Especially if you tend to have thin hair, this look will give you the extra volume you need. Take the top segment of your hair (as if you were doing a half-up half-down look) and tease your hair by combing backwards. Next, take two small sections from the front of your scalp and pin them to the back.

Extra-long ponytail

If you feel like your hair is permanently in that in-between length where it’s not too short or not long, and are trying to find ways to spice your lookup, why not try this ‘do? Simply by dividing the top and bottom parts of your hair and tying each of them up, you’ve got yourself a super-long voluminous ponytail.

Top knot

Tie your hair into a high ponytail, split your hair into two sections and twist them before wrapping them around at the base of the rubber-band and fixing it with two bobby pins. Voila – you’ve got yourself a look!

Flower braid

Take two large front sections of hair and secure them at the back with a rubber band. Braid the tied piece of hair, and twist it around itself before tucking the end in with a bobby pin.

Topsy tail

This is hands-down the easiest way to vamp up your regular ponytail. Tie your hair at the base of your neck. Just above where the rubber-band is, separate your hair into two parts and pull the ponytail through the gap to add a simple twist. There are many variations to this look: by dividing your hair into multiple sections, you can have two or three of these ponytails or can do this trick with your hair in a half-updo.

For those of you that are looking to bring back braids, this is a sophisticated way to incorporate them into your look. Part your hair down the middle, divide it into two sections and then braid each part. Wrap the plaits around the front of your scalp and secure with bobby pins.
