Weekday mornings are crazy; you’re running around the house drying your hair, looking for those heels, making coffee and doing zillion other things. After picking the perfect outfit and lipstick shade to go with it, you have no time left to spare on deciding the right hairstyle.
As we’ve mentioned time and again, the right hairstyle can make or break a look. If you’ve been keeping your hair open or simply grabbing it all up into a bun, we’re about to help you break the rut. We’ve compiled a list of office appropriate hairstyles for each hair length and the best part? They take no more than five minutes to create *yay*!
Short hair

- Beachy side braid
Most people will argue that there’s nothing you can do with short hair other than leave them open. We don’t think so! When you want to update your lob, part your hair on one side and create a side braid using sections of hair from the crown area.

- Side swept pixie
Pixie cut is one of the easiest and most effortless hairstyles to rock. It looks good on people of all ages. If you have a slightly grown out pixie like this one, wear it on one side to give out major boss vibes.
Medium hair

- High ponytail
You can never go wrong with a ponytail and it’s your go-to hairstyle for office on most days. But, don’t you hate the part when it slips down in an hour or so, completely ruining the look? Here is how you can get a voluminous high ponytail that won’t slip.

- Messy half bun
Kinda want to gather your hair into a bun, kinda want to keep it open? On days like these, grab the crown section of your hair, twist it into a messy bun and secure with bobby pins. Keep the rest of your hair open. Pair this hairstyle with a solid, crisp shirt and take your office look to a whole new level.
Long hair

- Braided half bun
The best part about long hair is that you can try so many different looks! So leave those buns and braids behind and embrace the braided half bun. Pick a section of hair from the crown area and start braiding, grabbing sections from both the sides. Once you reach the back of your head, loosely twist the hair and secure using bobby pins.

- Side fishtail braid
Although common, fishtail braids look so elegant and complement almost every outfit. Wear this side fishtail braid, bangs and simple eye makeup and show them who is in power!
