Confession time: We cannot think of Mouni Roy without envying that gorgeous, flawless complexion. With or without makeup, Mouni’s skin looks super stunning; almost like it is set to Instagram’s Paris filter. Agree?
As the ‘Made In China’ actress celebrates her 35th birthday today, we decided to celebrate it by bringing to you some skincare practices that the beauty follows to maintain her clear, glowing complexion. Excited? Let’s begin…
- Stays hydrated, inside out
- Never steps out without sunscreen
- Stays makeup-free when not working
- Loves aloe vera and turmeric
- Indulges in face massages
Stays hydrated, inside out

The actress believes staying hydrated is the best and most simple way to achieve clear skin. To do this, Mouni not only drinks about 8 to 10 glasses of water every daily but also applies a moisturiser twice a day without fail. These two things keep the actress’ skin looking incredibly soft and glowing.
Never steps out without sunscreen

That Mouni is a travel enthusiast is no secret — one look at her Insta profile and you’ll know what we’re talking about. When she is not working, the actress is usually seen travelling to exotic places. But to ensure that all this travelling doesn’t end up taking a toll on her skin, she applies a sunscreen without fail. This not only prevents tanning but also ensures that her skin remains spotless and blemish-free.
Stays makeup-free when not working

Mouni feels that her skin undergoes a lot when she is working, thanks to the chemicals in makeup and the harsh lighting on set. Therefore, on the days when she is not working, she completely refrains from applying any sort of makeup to allow her skin to breathe and repair itself. Also, as soon Mouni finishes shooting, she immediately gets rid of all the makeup before hitting the sheets. This, she feels, is one of the key reasons behind her skin looking great.
Loves aloe vera and turmeric

Another secret behind the Naagin actress’s spotless skin is two very common ingredients – aloe vera and turmeric. The actress uses these two ingredients in a lot of her DIY face masks to ward off acne, blemishes and keep her skin soft, supple and bright.
Indulges in face massages

Mouni is a huge fan of face massages and ensures that she visits a professional for a face massage sesh at least once a week. The improved blood circulation after a face massage helps to add that amazing glow to your face and keeps that pesky acne at bay.
