A predictable result of spending months in quarantine for everyone has been to hit a hard reset on the state of our hair. With no access to hair stylists during the lockdown, many were forced to grow out their colour treated hair and embrace their natural pigment. But now that the salons are open and we’re gearing up for the party season (however intimate) you might want to get rid of all the lockdown hair and transform it with a fresh colour for winters. Here some of the prettiest winter hair colours trends you’ll be seeing everywhere this season.

01. Spiced chocolate brown

Hair colour to remind us of hot, Christmassy beverages is always welcome for the season! This rich chocolate/cinnamon tinted colour will add some warmth to cold, winter mornings. It is also a great way to upgrade tired and dull-looking brown hair, which is in serious need of some shine.

02. Jet black

Even though we desis are blessed with naturally dark hair, the jet black tint still remains quite a rare sight. If you're looking to cover up some greys, bring glossiness back and/or get rid of any reminiscent colour, this trendy colour job will look so chic with your glitzy, sequinned LBDs.

03. Sweet gingerbread

A little bit of red mixed with a little bit of brown and blonde — this cookie-licious colour is oh-so-lovely. It’s perfect for someone looking to add warmth to their tresses, without going overboard. Plus, a pretty balayage will always be a good pick to jazz up your natural hair colour.

04. Icy brew

A multidimensional brunette colour, this coffee toned dye job is luscious, rich and the perfect hair colour for winter. The look can be achieved by adding warm highlights to the ends of your hair. Use a sulphate-free shampoo to prevent the colour from turning brassy. The Tresemme Pro Protect Sulphate Free Shampoo is free of sulphates and will extend the vibrancy and shine of your hair colour.

05. Roasted caramel

We spotted Bhumi Pednekar updating her quarantine hair with roasted caramel and now, we want to do the same! The yummy colour paired with earthy roots is a pretty dye job we have seen from a celeb in a while and it certainly is a winner!
