Guest Editor Tanya Chaitanya’s advice to every budding beauty enthusiast

Tanya Chaitanya takes over BB and is giving you beauty advice all this month! We sat down with the Editor of Femina and spoke to her about how to track and adapt beauty trends to suit the beauty junkie inside each one of us. This is what she had to say to every budding beauty enthusiast out there.

Know you trends

Educate yourself on beauty

“Research is very important. You should know your trends. There are the top four international fashion weeks that happen, Milan, London, Paris and New York Fashion Weeks, in addition to the Indian Fashion Weeks. Follow those and be on top of trends.”

Adapt those trends

“Practise and learn to adapt those trends to your face or body. It is really important you adapt it suit you. If there is gold, glitter or even shimmer that is doing the beauty rounds, experiment and learn if it works on your face or body.”

Focus on the basics

“You should invest in the best when it comes to skincare and haircare, because at the end of the day, it your skin and hair. They will pay the price if you scrimp on it.”

Perpetually has OCD. Obsessive contouring disorder. (Catches breath) She loves perfectly constructed sentences as much as she loves perfectly blended contours. Enough said.
