Always read the labels
Most of our beauty purchases are based on recommendations or reviews by friends and family or something that we’ve read online. However, never forget to read the list of ingredients before purchasing any new products. Parabens, alcohol, strong fragrances are ideally avoidable, more so if you have sensitive skin. If these products are used excessively, the harsh chemicals will leave your skin dry and damaged. Also, beware of ingredients that you may be allergic to.
Keep the tools clean
Cleaning your makeup brushes and beauty blenders is essential. Make sure you wash them once a week. Brushes that are losing fibre need to be replaced. If you don’t regularly clean your tools and brushes, it can lead to a build-up of bacteria that can eventually lead to breakouts and other skin issues.
Try sticking to natural and organic ingredients and products. Aloe vera, coconut oil and argan oil are some good ingredients to look for in your products.
Stick to our routine
Try sticking to a skincare routine instead of doing too many new things all at once. After trying out a new routine, stick to it for at least a month before switching to something new. Constantly changing products can leave your skin confused, so maintain discipline with your skincare habits.
